GIVING TUESDAY

Nurture curiosity and impact the

next generation of leaders, today.

Help us raise $20,000 to enclose our five classrooms for the winter & make an outdoor theater.

We’re outside, every day, all the time. However, having a place away from the elements to eat a snack, change clothes, read a book, and warm up is a huge need for our five classrooms at The Grove. We’re hoping to enclose three sides of the classrooms and put a solid roof on top.

We also want to create a small outdoor theater for our Grove kiddos! Through imaginary play, our students will develop social skills, emotional regulation, and language skills, while also boosting creativity, problem-solving, and cognitive abilities like critical thinking.

Thanks to other community fundraisers this month, we are hoping to have the project partially funded and looking to raise another $10,000 to reach our goal of $20,000!

Why give?

  • Support hands-on learning, exploring, problem-solving, and creativity through the natural elements.

  • 51% of students at The Grove are on a reduced rate/sliding scale/state subsidized childcare. This break in tuition is vital to creating an inclusive experience for our community.

  • Encourage the next resilient and brave group of kiddos with your tax-deductible donation.

From our families.

“(My daughter) has loved the way of learning that comes with the grove. We have seen massive improvements in her learning and wanting to learn and explore. We love that she can do this while playing and having fun.”

“(My son) belongs outside. Doing real life tasks and hands on learning as opposed to sitting in a class room ALL day. (He) has a lot of energy and just since farm school, I’ve seen such an improvement at home in him having more POSITIVE energy.”

“The Grove is refreshing and inspiring; our son is in love with farm-school and we are so grateful for the opportunity to send him to The Grove. The teachers are so invested in the kids and truly care about them. The experiences offer life lesson parallels and are honestly impressive and unique! From fun songs to fostering relationships or transferable lessons, the Grove provides something that works well for so many kids. We love the child-led approach as well as the loose structure that leaves room for spontaneity and creativity. Why just memorize colors to recite when you can go on a nature walk to find a yellow flower? Outdoor education rocks. If only there was a Grove for adults too, I’d be first to sign up! :)”
